About

Marlee was classically trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Los Angeles.

After years of singing on commercials, TV guest appearances, theatre musicals, live bands, a national hit song, touring, and 3 original CDs, she returned to her first love, acting. She had always shied away from film and TV because she didn't fit into "the norm" only to discover that this is exactly why she would be cast.

She can be seen acting opposite Jessica Biel in Limetown and Kim Fields in You Light Up My Christmas. She plays Mum in The D Cut on Crave TV, another mom of Jessie Tyler Ferguson in Ivy and Bean on Netflix and Making Spirits Bright from Hallmark.

You can also catch her in The Bad Seed Returns on Lifetime, Upload on Prime and recurring as Judge Edith Mendelsohn in So Help Me Todd with Marcia Gay Harden. She's a series regular on "The Chicken Sisters" on Hallmark+ and is guest-starring on When Calls the Heart, Animal Control, The Irrational, Sight Unseen and in the feature film, The Wedding Banquet with Bowen Yang.

Her many commercials include Poise, Shaw WiFi, Fox Sports, Hewlett Packard, Intel and she co-hosts the popular travel series, The Tale Blazers.

She was nominated for a Leo Award for Best Supporting Performance in a Dramatic series for her role on Creepshow - The Hat.

Marlee currently sings live with 2 bands, Souled Out and the Porch Chops
